Founded by Peter Meineck in London in 1991, this New York-based non-profit theatre company is now one of the foremost producers of classical theater in the United States. “Aquila’s productions are beautifully spoken, dramatically revealing and crystalline in effect.” – The New Yorker

Written in 1924, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald paints a vivid picture of how the quest for the American dream in the absence of true equality can lead to devastating effects. As timely and relevant a story as the year, it was written, this production is sure to be the must-see show of the season.
