The most famous piano concerto of all time complements a recent work by 2022-23 Seattle Symphony Artist-in-Residence, and YSO Principal Clarinetist, Angelique Poteat. The program concludes with the first work by an African-American woman to be performed by a major U.S. orchestra, Florence Price’s Symphony No. 1 from the early 1930s.

• Group prices (for 10 or more paid tickets) are available. Group ticket purchases must be coordinated through the YSO office at 509-248-1414 during regular office hours, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
• Tickets for students/children are $5.00 plus the Capitol Theatre Patron User Fee of $2.00. Purchase student/children’s tickets during box office hours by phone at 509-853-ARTS (2787) or in person at the Capitol Theatre Box Office. Student ID or visual verification of age (for younger children) is required to pick up student/children’s tickets.
