YSO: Scheherazade & Other Remarkable Women

On Friday, March 13, 2020, Governor Inslee expanded the prohibition of all social, spiritual, and recreational events over 250 people state wide.  Due to public health concerns this YSO performance has been cancelled. Ticket holders may contact the YSO office at (509) 248-1414 between 8:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday, or email info@ysomusic.org for information on exchanges, donations and refunds.

Rimsky-Korsakov’s orchestral showpiece, highlighting concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck, anchors this program, which also features YSO principal clarinetist Angelique Poteat as both performer and composer as well as an overture by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, the very talented older sister of Felix Mendelssohn.
