Leonard Bernstein was the greatest hero of American music. Celebrating his 100th birthday, concertmaster Denise Dillenbeck performs his Serenade. Brahms’ first symphony established the composer as Beethoven’s successor – a very heroic feat!

Bernstein – Serenade (After Plato’s “Symposium”)
Brahms – Symphony No. 1
