We invite you to join us for a special community event launching the Capitol Theatre’s Capital Campaign: Your Capitol Theatre.
Major changes are coming to the Capitol Theatre in 2027, and this is a chance to step inside and learn what’s ahead for this historic Yakima landmark as we begin our process to restore and modernize Yakima’s Jewel.
Guests will move through six interactive stations throughout the theatre, each highlighting a different component of the upcoming construction project. You’ll see architectural renderings, explore historical materials, and learn how the community can support this work. Staff and volunteers will be available at each station to answer questions and share details.
Complimentary snacks and a cash bar will be available, as well as a chance to win free tickets to an upcoming Capitol Theatre performance. This is a FREE family-friendly event, so bring your friends and family and join our knowledgeable staff and volunteers to learn about the upcoming major restoration and modernization project at the Capitol Theatre.
