The Capitol Theatre's annual Preview Party once again brought together arts lovers and subscribers for a lively celebration of the upcoming 2025–2026 season. Held in the intimate setting of the 4th Street Theatre, the event offered attendees a first look at the shows and events that will fill the year ahead with music, drama, and inspiration.
A long-standing tradition in the Yakima arts community, the Preview Party serves as the official kickoff for subscription renewals and new subscriber sign-ups. Guests enjoyed live musical performances by Capitol Theatre CEO Charlie Robin, joined by local musicians and singers, offering a taste of what audiences can expect from the coming season.
In addition to the Capitol Theatre, both Yakima Town Hall and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra participated in the evening, sharing highlights from their upcoming seasons and providing opportunities for patrons to renew or purchase subscriptions on the spot.

Suffs – September 8 & 9, 2025

Chicago – October 17 & 18, 2025
The razzle-dazzle Broadway classic returns, bringing with it jazz, scandal, and unforgettable choreography in the tale of fame-hungry murderesses in 1920s Chicago.
Stomp – November 11 & 12, 2025
A percussive explosion of rhythm, movement, and sound, Stomp transforms everyday objects into musical instruments in a show that pulses with energy and creativity.
The Choir of Man – January 3 & 4, 2026
Set in a British pub, this feel-good concert-style show combines pub tunes, folk, rock, and Broadway hits with a celebration of community and camaraderie.
In addition to the main season lineup, patrons can look forward to the return of Capitol Extras—a series of single-performance shows to be announced later in the year. These special events feature diverse artists and performances that are just as engaging and memorable as the Capitol Best Series, offering even more ways to experience live entertainment in Yakima.
