Capitol Kids is a youth theatre arts program designed to inspire curiosity and unleash creativity. More engaging than watching a movie, Capitol Kids live performances are entertaining and interactive, giving children the opportunity to think, imagine, and dream. Our shows are presented by professional touring companies, providing teachers and students with high-quality, easily accessed, one-of-a-kind experiences that help kids develop into well-rounded thinkers and problem solvers.

Art is a crucial component to any complete education. Unfortunately, when education funding is reduced, arts programs are often the first courses eliminated. Capitol Kids was created to help ensure that all Yakima Valley children receive the benefits of arts programming; higher self-esteem, motivation, discipline, and creativity.
