An all-French program featuring classic works by Debussy and Ravel, including a performance by the Gold Medal Laureate of the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, along with a work by Lili Boulanger, the first woman to be awarded the Prix de Rome for composition.

Hosted by YSO Principal Hornist and Central Washington University School of Music professor Dr. Jeffrey Snedeker, ConcerTalks explore the composers of the works on the concert and their milieu as well as an in-depth look at each composition on the program.

PLEASE NOTE: Purchase student/children’s tickets during box office hours by phone 509-853-ARTS (2787) or in person at the Capitol Theatre Box Office. Student ID or visual verification of age (for younger children) is required in order to pick up student/children’s tickets.

 

Starting July 1, 2019 a $1 fee will be added to each ticket to support the upkeep of the historic Capitol Theatre. Learn more here.
